Prior to joining Crowdtap, Kareem had founded multiple Web startups including Hapnin.com and beYOU.tv. Kareem started his career at Sapient Corporation where he helped build large enterprise web services for Fortune 500 companies including Capital One, Kaiser Permanente, BlueCross BlueShield, Freddie Mac and National City Mortgage.
Kareem also is the founder of the NYC Lean Startup Meetup which has risen to be one of the most highly respected meetups in New York and which members include the founders of the top New York startups. Kareem also serves as an advisor to a handful of New York and Egyptian startups and web businesses.
Kareem holds a Master’s in Computer Science from Imperial College in London, England and Bachelors of Computer Science from Manchester University (formally UMIST).
