Kamran is an experienced media & technology investor and operator, based in New York City.
Previously, he was a consultant with McKinsey & Company and ran Business Development at online advertising network, WhenU.com. He’s also been an investor at Oak Hill Capital and Tenaya Capital. At Tenaya, his investments included Funny Or Die, SearchMe, jaxtr (acquired by Sabse Technologies), Wintegra (acquired by PMC-Sierra), Palo Alto Networks, Zuora, and others.
Currently, Kamran leads Corporate and Business Development efforts for MyYearbook, the #1 social networking and gaming platform for teens. MyYearbook has 30 mm registered users and 2.5 BN page views/ month, and is backed by US Venture Partners, Norwest Venture Partners, SV Angel, and First Round Capital.
