Kacie Kinzer creates experiences through objects, environments and digital platforms. She earned a masters degree from the Interactive Telecommunications Program at NYU, where she was awarded a research residency after graduating in 2009. Currently, she teaches courses in design and technology as an adjunct professor at ITP. My expertise is in interaction design, usability, and effective communication of ideas across a range of mediums.
Kinzer built Tweenbot, a cardboard robot equipped only with “cuteness and a flag that says ‘help me’†to elicit help from passersby. With the help of 29 strangers, the tiny robot crossed NYC’s Washington Square Park in just 42 minutes.
