Justin Staines is CEO and joint co-founder of Shumbi.
Shumbi is a deep-web discovery and document management company in stealth mode.
Justin has over 18 years experience in the PC and Cell phone industries, leading global sales, marketing and product marketing teams. He has built VP, Senior VP, President and board level relationships with Microsoft, Dell, Nokia and numerous other blue-chip organizations. During his tenure as a main board Director at Wacom Components Ltd, Justin launched Wacom’s presence in the Microsoft Tablet PC market in 2001, helping the company IPO on the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE:6727). Justin built the OEM channels from a zero revenue contribution to over US$31m. Prior to joining Wacom, Justin was European Sales Director at Synaptics, building the cell phone business from zero revenue (NASDAQ:SYNA). Justin had his first computer program published at the age of 12, studied Computer Science at Peterhouse, Cambridge, and holds a number of patents in the field of cellphone user interfaces, optical display filters, audio electronics, multi-touch and clustering.
