Justin Ehly founded Gumptio.us, the online resource for media sales people at www.gumptio.us in the summer of 2009 and is an active Social Media Expert, serving as the Sales Director for Bebo.

Bebo is a top ranked Social Network in the US, UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand and was acquired by AOL in May 2008 for $850 million, with a recent valuation of $1.8 billion by TechCrunch.

Prior to joining Bebo, Justin served as Director, Media Sales at Userplane, another AOL acquisition that builds a suite of tools for social engagement, such as Webchat and Webmessenger and distributes those tools to over 280,000 online communities, including Myspace (Forums) and Facebook (Facebook Chat).

Userplane subsidizes the cost of licensing its products through the sales of display, text and video ads and in some cases has affinity deals to rep additional 3rd party site inventory, organically creating a Social Advertising Network.

Justin Ehly’s experience spans various media, including radio, cable television, satellite radio, online video and social media. He is a self-motivated person that spent the last 4-years working in entrepreneurial roles for start-ups, building their roster of brand advertisers through direct client and agency relationships.

Justin is well versed in West Coast advertising strategies and has allies within most of the major studios, automotive, gaming and QSR accounts. As a business person, Justin is proficient with comScore, SalesForce, AdData, SAP, cloud computing (i.e. SalesForce and Google Docs) and client computing (i.e. Microsoft Office).
