Julia Soergel is co-founder and CEO of Yo.lk. She takes care of strategic and administrative aspects as well as marketing and communication. When developing features for mite, she fights for embracing user feedback.
Julia was born in 1982 in Ãœberlingen, Germany. After finishing school in 2000, she started working as a commercial photographer in several studios in Southern Germany. In 2002, she began to study Print & Media Technique at the University of Applied Sciences in Berlin, where she met Sebastian Munz. Since 2004, she was alongside freelancing as a frontend developer for international customers such as argonauten360° Zürich, Procter & Gamble and Lucky Strike. in 2006, she switched focus and freelanced as a professional blogger, writing for Electronic Arts, Warner Music, Spreeblick and the CeBIT. After graduating as a “Diplom Ingenieur” in 2007, she slowly convinced Sebastian to start a company. In 2008, she co-founded Yo.lk. Julia is living and working in Berlin.
