Jude Gomila is currently co founder of Heyzap (Union Square Ventures and Y Combinator funded in 2009).
Jude Gomila was born in London, UK and attended the UK's Cambridge University. He graduated with Honors in Engineering and Management. During his final year of University he started Sugar Global, a digital photo frame brand, making sales to UK stores including Harrods, Selfridges, Amazon and Firebox.com. Sugar products were featured in the What Hi-Fi Magazineâ€™s Expo 2007. After Sugar Global, Jude Gomila went on to found an charity gaming site (Helpthirst.com) in contract with Worldvision.
Jude Gomila was the first undergraduate of Cambridge University to become a finalist in the Cambridge University Entrepreneurs 50k business creation competition with a redesign of a kidney dialysis technology. In 2004, Jude Gomila was awarded the Technology Partnership Award for excellence in Design while at Cambridge University and in 2005, the IBM EMEA Top Student Award.
Jude Gomila also mentors at Seedcamp week in Europe and conducts interviews for intruders.tv.
