Prior to working at Novak Biddle Venture Partners, Josh co-founded Proximities, a venture-backed systems integrator providing radio frequency identification solutions for the leisure and entertainment industry.
Josh has 8 patents derived from the secure RFID tag design and software at the core of Proximities’ product offering. While at Proximities, Josh focused on sales & marketing, establishing direct and indirect sales channels as well as defining product specifications from customer requirements. Proximities won the best new product award at the 2006 International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) trade show. In 2008, Proximities was acquired by Bartronics America.
Josh earned a BSE in mechanical engineering from Princeton University where he graduated cum laude.
