Josh Gagliardi is responsible for maintaining and extending the technological advantages of the company’s suite of content delivery, network services and IP software products and leveraging those advantages for entry into new markets. Mr. Gagliardi managed all aspects of software development and quality assurance during the creation of Highwinds’ Cyclone and Typhoon products as well as the Twister discussion server. His contributions have provided for the advancement of a wide range of technologies – including messaging bus architecture, network management, distributed file systems and advanced routing methods.
Prior to joining Highwinds, Mr. Gagliardi worked as a software engineer with Language Engineering Corporation, and with BBN Systems and Technologies, where he helped develop content aggregation and filtering technology for an early news aggregator.
