Joseph is Chief Design Officer at A Cleaner Internet, a company that specializes in minimalist online experiences. Joseph, or Jody as he’s known to friends, coworkers and colleagues, is also Chief Designer at A Cleaner Internet.
After finishing a Ph.D. on Shakespeare and publishing a book the same year on Radiohead, he made the full-time transition from university-level teaching of literature (ancient to postmodern) and composition (expository, research and business writing) to web application design and development. Since 2007, he’s worked for the University of Washington’s Network Management Tools Team. Since 2010, he’s worked extensively on A Cleaner YouTube, a browser extension, and now A Cleaner Amazon.
