Update

A digital veteran who has spent 15+ years building Internet products for businesses and consumers, Joe has served as a serial C-level executive: COO and Digital GM for Newsweek and The Daily Beast; Chief Product Officer for NewsRight; and CTO for New York Magazine and Thomas Publishing.

Formerly, Joe was a senior manager in KPMG Consulting’s content practice, advising The New York Times, Philip Morris, and JPMorgan Chase on digital strategies. A longtime teacher of digital media strategy at Yale and NYU, he has frequently taught digital management seminars in Europe and Asia.

Joe earned a bachelor’s degree in physics from N.C. State, where he conducted research in low temperature semiconductors, and MBA with honors from Duke.
