Jordan Ormont joined Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers in 2008. He is responsible for driving human capital strategy across the KPCB portfolio and recruiting top talent into our companies from around the world. Jordan has supported KP entrepreneurs in organization design, board recruiting and executive team-building in many companies including Zynga, Chegg, One Kings Lane, Shazam, Shopkick, Booyah, inMobi, LifeLock, Cooliris, ReputationDefender, Silver Spring Networks, Hara, Flo-Design Wind Turbines, Amonix, APTwater, and Upwind Solutions.
Prior to working at KPCB, Jordan was a Principal at Silicon Valley’s Howard Fischer Associates. At Howard Fischer Associates, Jordan built executive teams for many of Silicon Valley’s top venture-backed Enterprise Networking, Software, eCommerce, Media, and Consumer Electronics companies.
Prior to joining Howard Fischer Associates, Jordan founded NewPoint Ventures at the age of 25; a boutique-recruiting firm that specialized in building sales and marketing teams for high-tech companies internationally. Jordan also spent four years at Century Associates, a Philadelphia based search firm. Jordan holds a B.A. from Bloomsburg University.
