Jonie is commercial business developer on director level and has been been working in the mobile internet industry since 2001. He was part of the KPN Mobile team that launched i-mode in the Netherlands. He then joined a French mobile start-up, Miyowa (employee #4) where he lead the business development in general and especially with mobile carriers worldwide. After that he spend half year with Beatbrew a mobile start-up from Philips Lifestyle (Incubators) to put a streaming music service in the market. Since March 2008 he is Director Carrier Relations with eBuddy BV, where he is responsible to increase eBuddy’s footptint on carrier’s portals, pre-installations with OEMs and third party distributors. Jonie has an extensive network including all major carriers in Europe, Asia, US as well as all major handset vendors and appstore providers.
