Jonathan Labs has been with Wavesat since 1997 and has been the key leader in the development of Wavesat’s OFDM/DSP technology and core IP. Dr. Labs served as Chief Scientist between 2003 and 2008, leading all PHY algorithm development for Wavesat’s silicon solutions. Dr. Labs has also been an active member of the IEEE 802.16 Working Group since July, 2001, and was appointed as the Chair of the 802.16 Maintenance Task Group since December, 2004. This Group oversees the development of the 802.16 corrigenda and revision projects. Dr. Labs received his Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, in 1986 and his Doctor of Philosophy in Physics from Stanford University in Stanford, California in 1992.
