Jonathan grew up playing games on the family Apple II that still sits in his office. He has been making computer and video games since 1994, after combining a software programming background with a Master of Fine Arts degree from Boston University, where he directed plays and studied the works of Shakespeare. He has worked at several major publishers, including Interplay, Activision, and Electronic Arts. Over the course of fifteen years, he has produced and directed for a number of key gaming franchises, including Start Trek, Quake, Wolfenstein, and The Simpsons. While at EA’s Maxis studio, he produced several expansion packs to The Sims (at the time the most successful PC game in history), and was a key creative and production leader for the widely acclaimed and commercial sequel, The Sims 2. As Vice President and Executive Producer at EA’s Visceral Games studio, he was the creator of Dante’s Inferno and an additional new intellectual property currently in development. After nearly a decade at EA, Jonathan joined RockYou in October 2010 as Senior Vice President of Games, where he his now building games and teams for the social networking platform.
