Jon Sobel has served in a variety of leadership roles at technology companies including Calera, Tesla Motors, SourceForge, CBS, and Yahoo!.
An expert in guiding new technology companies, Sobel has repeatedly navigated uncharted waters and contributed to building new industries.
Sobel has held leadership roles in clean energy, open source, and new media. Earlier, he served at Yahoo! as their General Counsel and a member of the company’s Executive Committee.
Sobel holds an A.B. degree in public policy with honors from Princeton University and a J.D. degree with honors from the University of Michigan Law School. He received an MBA from Wharton and a journalism fellowship from the Poynter Institute of Media Studies.
