As Vice President of Operations, Jon Mandell brings to Confabb the necessary combination of project and general staff management expertise, years of entrepreneurial experience and a keen sense for business strategy.
Jon’s path to Confabb started with AT&T wireless, assessing and managing risk for the company before assuming a role within the telecommunications giant’s internal communications structure.
Jon left corporate America and AT&T just prior to its merger with Cingular wireless to co-found and lead Preferred Wellness, a Florida-based medical savings plan which provided medical discounts to low-income residents who found traditional health insurance out of reach. Unfortunately, Florida’s insurance industry introduced state legislation which provided much of the same services as Preferred Wellness, paving the way for Jon’s migration to New York City.
Jon’s desire to build companies that make a daily difference in people’s lives led him to join the PubSub Concepts team in 2005. There he used his experience and skills in guiding the fledgling corporation’s operations, finance, marketing and business development.
