An early investor in social media, Jon helped launch and build Houseparty.com as the first “people-powered” brand-activation network. After that he founded Meitimedia to provide strategic insight on agile commerce platforms at the intersection of online and offline.
Recently, he was VP Strategy/EIR at American Express’s elite unit responsible for building and buying platforms that deliver new types of digital experiences to buyers and sellers.
He’s a veteran of Time Warner, serving as president Emphasis, a business focused on monetizing content, business insights and customer behavior data. He held senior positions in sales, marketing, business development and strategic planning and was honored with the President’s Award, “the company’s highest honor recognizing innovative problem solving and extraordinary performance.” Today, Jon lives in Seattle and is committed to help moms make better decisions in supermarkets with his latest project Spree – the Netflix of healthy groceries.
