Jon Alain Guzik is the Founder and CEO of RideApart/DriveApart, a venture-backed stealth-mode motorcycle and powersports vertical that aims to bring the powersports category into technological relevancy.

He is also the founder of Hubris Factory, a creative consultancy that aims to help brands navigate the media and start-up space by developing strategies that reflect the core, heritage and lifestyle of brands.

Hubris Factory concentrates on the intersections between fashion, lifestyle, social shopping. Clients include Yahoo!, Isaia, DriverSide and American Honda Motors.

Besides Hubris Factory, Guzik is the founder Kuradi*, a consultancy who’s core mission is to create the intersection between shopping, style and ubiquitous philanthropy.

Kuradi* aims to help consumers, brands, and non-profits through technology and editorial content raise money and awareness for charities of the users choice. Kuradi* is not a product, but a way to raise charitable capital from any and everything you see or do on the Internet.

Previously he was the Director of Editorial Development for DriverSide.com, a website that focuses on everything consumers need to know about car ownership. Since he joined DriverSide.com in 2007, its click-based advertising revenues, viewership and registered users - over 1.5 million - has increased exponentially.

Prior to joining DriverSide, Guzik was the Editor-at- Large at Yahoo! Autos, where he developed the portal’s original automotive content.

His multi-platform media initiatives and secondary programs launch content was featured weekly in Yahoo!’s front page to a global audience of billions of viewers. Under Guzik’s direction, content at Yahoo! Autos become the most trafficked automotive site on the internet, based on unique monthly visitors.

Throughout his career, Guzik has written on subjects ranging from art, architecture and popular culture to media convergence, sports, fashion, video games and automobiles. Guzik was also contributing editor at Stuff, Maxim and Complex magazines from 2002 to 2008.

He has been featured on the Today Show, Good Morning America, View from the Bay as well as being quoted on AOL Autos, Yahoo! Autos, BBC News and the Los Angeles Times.

Guzik has also worked as an editorial and brand management consultant to various ad agencies, media and automotive companies as well as a numerous lifestyle and fashion brands.

Guzik has a B.A. in Cinema from San Francisco State University and an M.F.A. from the California Institute of the Arts in Critical Studies with a supplemental certification in Integrated Media.

He lives in Los Angeles, California with his wife Nicole, a costumer designer and a dog named Frank.
