John Wedgwood was most recently co-founder and CTO of Bixbe and 1000 Markets, Inc. (sold to Bonanza). The company built simple and ubiquitous e-commerce platforms for individuals and small business. Prior to 1000 Markets he worked at AirSet, a service that provided group collaboration tools online. He was CTO of Onscreen Systems, a company that delivered a platform for user generated games around popular television programs. He began his career at Geoworks, where he created and led their Seattle Design Center, which was acquired by Amazon.com as part of a talent acquisition. He lives with his family in Seattle, Washington.
