John vanSuchtelen is Vice President of AddictingGames at Viacom Media Networks, where he oversees the industry-leading gaming property across web, mobile and social.
Prior to leading AddictingGames, John served in a number of other roles for Viacom - as the executive overseeing Product and Marketing for the Nickelodeon and MTVN Games Group, as well as the head of Shockwave.com.
Previously, John was responsible for Product Strategy & eCommerce in AOL’s Entertainment Group, championing premium revenue streams for AOL Music, Moviefone and AOL Television. In this role, he oversaw the growth of MusicNet@AOL to the #1 on-demand music subscription service of its time and the rollout of the iTunes for Windows launch partnership.
John began his online career as one of the original employees of AOL Canada in 1996, and later went on to hold positions at Netscape Communications Corp. and in creative development at AOL, where he served as an internal consultant, helping to define AOL’s original content experiences across multiple verticals and create pioneering new ad opportunities.
