John is an all-around talented technologist with over ten years of experience in the software industry. Most recently, John was the Lead Architect and part of the founding team at Yahoo Local. At Yahoo, he was involved in the design, implementation, and operation of all backend systems and was intimately involved in all aspects of Yahoo Local’s releases. John has also held Principle Engineer/Lead Architect positions at Liberate, Microsoft, and HP and has wide-breadth of knowledge ranging from hardware design, OS kernel, networking protocol, and application server technology to front-end engineering and advanced Javascript/CSS.
John is also a successful entrepreneur, having been the Co-Founder and VP of Engineering of a successful startup which was acquired for $50 million in 2002.
