John S. Watson, age 52, has been vice chairman of Chevron since April 2009.
Prior Positions Held: Watson was previously Chevron’s executive vice president of strategy and development since 2008. From 2005 until 2007, he was president of Chevron International Exploration and Production, and from 2001 until 2005, he was chief financial officer. He was named vice president responsible for strategic planning in 1998. Watson joined Chevron Corporation in 1980.
