With twenty years of experience in innovative technology solutions, John Qualls has helped hundreds of organizations solve their operational challenges by developing predictable and controlled approaches to infrastructure deployment and investment. From his early roots in application development, data center co-location, managed network services and disaster recovery, he offers a keen understanding of the last decade’s technological trends and cycles that have evolved into today and tomorrow’s hosted IT environments.
A co-founder of Bluelock, John also served as CEO from the company’s inception until 2010. Once thought to be a futuristic service model, “Infrastructure-as-a-Service” was commercialized and brought to the market by Bluelock as a more effective, more efficient and more affordable approach to technology investment and management in 2006.
Currently Senior Vice President for Business Development for Bluelock, Qualls has helped to identify innovative, unique infrastructure solutions for enterprise companies across all experience levels of the cloud spectrum including VMware and LAMCO.
In addition to his extensive technological industry experience, John served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps and is a decorated Gulf War veteran.
