John Powell is a co-founder and Managing Director of Integral Capital Partners. Prior to forming Integral, John spent nine years at T. Rowe Price Associates in various research and portfolio management capacities. From March 1984 to March 1987, John was assistant portfolio manager of the T. Rowe Price Growth Stock Fund, a diversified growth fund whose assets grew to $1.6 billion from a base of $900 million during that time. He was portfolio manager of the T. Rowe Price Science & Technology Fund from September 1987 to September 1988 and was portfolio manager of the T. Rowe Price Small Cap Value Fund from June 1988 to August 1991.
John has a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an M.B.A. from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration of the University of Virginia. He serves as a Trustee of the Arts and Sciences Foundation of the University of North Carolina. John is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
