John co-founded Jott with Shree Madhavapeddi in 2006. Prior to Jott, John was Senior Director in Microsoft’s Mobile Devices group, initially driving Strategy, but ultimately managing Applications and Services, Portable Media Center, and marketing to over 600,000 third party developers.
Prior to the Mobile Devices group, John was an early manager at Expedia, with which he spun out of Microsoft. He led the travel group’s international rollout, was the Managing Director of the UK and Germany subsidiaries, and subsequently started the Expedia Corporate Travel product unit.
He has an MBA from the University of Michigan, and a BA from Kenyon College.
