John Mark is Chief Scientist at Impermium. His career spans a range of Bayesian applications in Machine Learning.
Previously he at was Intel Research and before that, Edify Corporation, Knowledge Industries and SRI International, after receiving his doctorate at Stanford. His recent work has been in intelligent diagnostics, mining web opinions, and on distributed anomaly detection for network security.
He was a Santa Fe Institute Business Fellow 2007-2008 and program chair for the annual Bayesian Applications Workshop that accompanies the Uncertainty in AI conference.
