John Cappiello was in front of a computer early in his childhood writing software, building systems and eventually applying his skills to his professional career. As CTO of DOTmed.com, Inc, he took an immature classifieds system with a small user base and rebuilt it into a scalable, high performing, interactive, marketplace running live auctions with over 50,000 users and 100s of high value products bought and sold every day. More recently he served as Product Lead of Call Tracking at VoiceStar, Inc., acquired by Marchex, Inc. in 2007. There he helped take a functionally useful service, and made it something customers not only wanted, but needed.
