John Bruggeman is the CMO at Wind River. He is responsible for overseeing the company’s corporate strategy, global marketing, strategic alliances, and vertical business functions. His global team architects the company’s strategy spanning all vertical markets, including automotive, aerospace and defense, industrial, networking and mobile; fosters one of the broadest partner ecosystems in the technology industry; and shapes the overall public perception of Wind River. Bruggeman has been instrumental in evangelizing the company’s strategy and is widely regarded as an inveterate visionary in the industry.
Prior to joining Wind River in 2004, Bruggeman was Vice President of Marketing at Mercury Interactive, now part of HP, where he led the company’s rebranding efforts, revitalized the marketing organization, and launched a new sales enablement model focused on enterprise-wide solutions. Bruggeman has more than 20 years of marketing experience, including marketing positions at America Online, Netscape, Lucent, and Octel Communications.
Bruggeman earned a Bachelor of Science degree in statistics and computer science from San Jose State University and a Master of Science degree in mathematics from the University of Connecticut.
