John Boynton is an entrepreneur and investor who has co-founded several companies and invested in a number of others. He operates out of Firehouse Capital, a closely held investment company that makes entrepreneurial investments in early stage technology companies, real estate, and other interesting opportunities.
Over the past twenty years, he co-founded several companies including Yandex, InfiNet Wireless, and CompTek (all in Russia) as well as Wilson|Alan, the Global Content Alliance, and SchoolPulse. He is an investor and/or board member in several other high growth companies, including Cloudy, Vacation Home Rentals, Motus Games, and LoveFilm. He has been self-employed all but seven years of his career – those years spent at Forrester Research and Mercer Management Consulting.
