As VP of Procurement and Supply Chain, John Amundson is responsible for supplier quality, strategic sourcing, cost management, and key parts and technologies for supply chain management.
John has over 25 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Management, Supplier Quality, and Global Procurement.
Prior to joining Motion in early 2002, John led the Global Procurement organizations at RadiSys and earlier at Emerson Electric’s ‘Process Systems and Solutions’ business unit.
Amundson graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. He holds professional certification as a “Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.)” from the Institute of Supply Chain Management and as a “Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)” professional from the American Production and Inventory Control Society.
