Joe is responsible for driving marketing and product strategy for all Demand Media properties. Joe brings over 11 years of Internet specific, marketing, product management, operations and business development experience where he has specialized in creating, developing and managing online communities and social networks.
Prior to Demand Media, Joe held executive and management positions at iWin.com, Intermix Media (Fox Interactive Media), Pulse, [email protected] and TEN/Pogo.com (Electronic Arts).
Joe was head of Product Strategy and Development at iWin.com a casual games publisher and community site. At Intermix Joe was the SVP of Product Strategy and Network Operations where he oversaw product and operations for a network of over 35 different websites.
Joe also managed the team that developed the social networking platform that powers various online communities including: Grab.com (casual games), FoxSports.com and Americanidol.com. At TEN/Pogo.com Joe created the PGL - Professional Gamers League, the first professional league for video games players.
