Joe is the Chief Marketing Officer of SwiftKey, a language technology and software start-up based in London, UK.
At SwiftKey, Joe primarily works on the promotion and development of the company's popular keyboard application for Android, SwiftKey. He also represents SwiftKey at public events and trade fairs, and works alongside the firm's co-founders on company strategy. Joe was hired by SwiftKey CEO and co-founder Jon Reynolds, whom he studied with at Cambridge.
Before joining SwiftKey, Joe worked as a writer/editor for the News Corporation global wire project, NewsCore, where in addition to being a journalist, he took a prominent role in setting up the technology behind the service. He also worked as a journalist for Sky News in London from 2007-2009, where he specialised in online news writing and video production, as well as social media strategy. In 2007, under Joe's direction, Sky News became the first news source to be officially featured by Twitter.
Joe holds a masters degree in law from the University of Cambridge and a masters in public policy from Brown University.
