Joaquim Sérvulo Rodrigues has a BSc and an MSc in Electrotechnical Engineering from IST (Portugal), and an MBA from INSEAD (France). From 1983 to 1995 he was Assistant Professor at IST and Research Project Leader of INESC. From 1997 to 2000 he was the General Manager of the Direct Channels Department of BES. From 2004 to 2006, he was CEO of Crediflash SA, the card business unit of the BES Group, and General Manager of the BES Consumer Credits Department. He is the CEO of EspÃrito Santo Ventures since its inception, in 2000.
