Jim Kunse serves as Chief Financial Officer of El Dorado Ventures, with responsibility for the firm’s operations and financial management.
Jim joined El Dorado in 2000 from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC), where he was a director in the firm’s high-tech industry group based in San Jose. Jim provided tax planning and compliance services to technology companies as well as financial planning services to high-net-worth individuals, trusts and private foundations.
Before joining PWC, Jim was a shareholder of Spott & Kunse, a San Francisco-based firm that provided audit and tax services to closely held businesses. Prior to forming Spott & Kunse, Jim was a senior tax manager in the San Francisco office of PWC.
Jim received a B.S. in accounting from the University of Colorado and is a licensed CPA in California.
