Jim Eberlin founded Gainsight by discovering a new opportunity to ensure customers were adopting products as well as using them to their fullest potential.
He discovered this, in part, due to the recurring revenue model of his previous company that he founded, Host Analytics. At Host Analytics, Jim and co-founder, Sreedhar Peddineni built a leading SaaS corporate performance management company.
Prior to Host Analytics, Jim was co-founder and CEO of Tapestry Computing FAS, a top 20 Oracle consulting firm specializing in financial analytics and ERP software implementations. Jim led Tapestry to a successful acquisition by Braun Consulting/Fair Isaac. Jim’s companies have been published in books such as Renting Business Applications, by Mary Lacity and Getting Partnering Right, by Neil Racham, author of Spin Selling.
Three things you need to know about Jim:
He loves coaching and watching his son and eldest daughter’s competitive teams as well as listening to his other daughter’s music. Their mom is responsible for their talent.
He used to be part of a sailing team with my friends – weird that they win so much now that he’s gone.
He’s big on his faith, family and friends.
