Wang Jiafen joined GGV Capital’s Shanghai office in May 2008 as a Venture Partner. Since 1996, Wang has been the Chairman and President of Bright Dairy & Food Co. Ltd. She constructed a national company listed (A Share) in August 2002 in Shanghai, with a famous brand from a regional product company. KEDI Chain Convenience Stores, which are invested and operated by Bright Dairy & Food Co. Ltd., are leaders in the convenience store sector. From 1992 to 2000, she was the Chairman and General Manager of Shanghai Dairy Group, leading the market-oriented transformation of the large state-owned enterprise.
Wang previously was the Vice-Secretary of Party and Director on a state-owed farm, and head of the Division of Foreign Economy of Farm Bureau. She brings with her nearly 40 years of experience in the enterprise management of manufacturing and processing of agricultural products and retail & service industries.
Wang is a graduate of Shanghai TV University, where she received her degree in Industrial Economy Management. She received an MBA from China Europe International Business School and a Masters degree in World Economy from East China Normal University.
