“An artist and an engineer, Jérôme (aka “Gej”) is the original designer of DivX technology and a DivX co-founder. After numerous positions with the company, he currently serves as Vice President and Group Business Manager of the Media Experience team. In this position, he leads the team charged with bringing new platforms, products and services to our users. This includes software, open source developer tools, community video blogs and the DivX community website.
Gej is a brilliant editor, compositing infographist, special effects designer and has extensive knowledge of video technologies. He has been involved in computing, graphics and digital video since the age of six, and was formerly technical director and chief infographist for a commercial design firm.
