Jenny Lee is a Partner with GGV Capital in Shanghai. She joined the firm in 2005 and was instrumental in setting up the GGV presence in China. Jenny focuses on the Software/Business Services and Internet/Digital Media sectors, and currently sits on the boards of hiSoft (NASDAQ: HSFT), 21Vianet (NASDAQ: VNET), China Talent Group (CTG), China Data Group (CDG), SocialTouch, YY (NASDAQ: YY), UCWeb, 7k7k and Arcas Entertainment. Jenny is also actively involved in Buddy Media (acquired by Salesforce.com), Glu Mobile (NASDAQ: GLUU) and Wild Tangent.
Jenny’s previous operating and finance work experience with Singapore Technologies Aerospace, Morgan Stanley and JAFCO Asia enhanced her role as a preferred board mentor and investor to many entrepreneurs in China. Jenny graduated from Cornell University with a Masters and B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and an M.B.A. from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. Jenny was recently voted by Forbes as one of the five most powerful female venture capitalists in 2012.
