Jennifer has over 15 years in-house and agency experience leading global corporate communications, launching brands, striking strategic partnerships and handling talent for some of the world’s biggest music companies and most successful startups in digital entertainment. She is highly skilled in crisis communications and competitor depositioning.
Currently Senior Director, Marketing and Publicity at VEVO, Jennifer oversees all corporate communications and programming publicity for the world’s leading all-premium music video and entertainment platform (a joint venture between Universal Music Group and Sony Music Entertainment). Jennifer successfully launched VEVO in the trade, business, tech and consumer media, overseeing national coverage in all major print, broadcast and digital outlets both in the US and UK. Jennifer has also promoted the VEVO brand through strategic partnerships including securing exclusive on-demand content from the Jonas Brothers, Access Hollywood awards coverage for the CMAs, the Other Music Live concert series and many more.
Prior to joining VEVO in 2009, Jennifer oversaw all public relations and branding for Sony Music’s former digital music store, Dada Entertainment. While at Dada, she also managed digital marketing/promotion campaigns supporting new album releases and concert tours from such artists as Lady Gaga, Jamie Foxx, Chrisette Michele and Keith Urban.
From 1997-2007, Jennifer led global corporate communications, crisis communications and songwriter publicity for BMG Music Publishing and its Zomba Music Publishing division, prior to the company’s sale to Universal Music Group for a record $2.2B.
