Jen O’Neal is the Founder and CEO of Tripping.
Jen grew up near Silicon Valley and graduated cum laude from UC Berkeley. She was employee #5 at StubHub, an online marketplace acquired by eBay for $307M in 2007, where she was responsible for the development of its brand and Marketing group.
After StubHub, Jen spent a year in Costa Rica launching the North American Marketing Division for ParadisePoker, a division of Sportingbet PLC. She was then invited by Eric Baker (StubHub’s Co-Founder) to head up marketing efforts for Viagogo, his London-based ticketing startup. At Viagogo, Jen also managed the marketing elements of deals with partners including Manchester United, Chelsea, FC Bayern Munich, Madonna and more.
Jen returned to San Francisco in 2009 to launch Tripping, a metasearch platform for home rentals with over 750,000 listings worldwide. Tripping also has a community of users in 175+ countries and its partners include Ivy League universities, AARP, AIESEC, AmeriCorps Alums, PADI and more.
In 2011, she raised a $1M Seed round.
