Mr. Schroeder is Chief Administrative Officer of Goldman Sachs, a role he has held since 2007. He is a member of the Management Committee and the Firmwide Client and Business Standards Committee. Previously, he was Chief Operating Officer of the Securities Division for four years.
Mr. Schroeder has been at the firm for over 20 years and has worked
with a broad range of corporate and investing clients. He joined Goldman Sachs in 1986 as a financial analyst in Capital Markets. After attending graduate school, he returned to the firm in the Investment Banking Division. He moved back to Capital Markets in 1992 and held a number of leadership positions before becoming Co-Head of the business in 2000. He was named Managing Director in 1999 and Partner in 2000.
Mr. Schroeder serves on the Stanford Center on Longevity Advisory Council and the Yale School of Management Board of Advisors.
