Jeff Giesea is an entrepreneur interested in media and technology, especially in B2B.
He’s the founder and CEO of BestVendor, a Yelp-like “social discovery” resource that helps professionals quickly find the best work-related apps. Backers include RRE Ventures, SoftBank Capital, Lerer Ventures, Peter Thiel, SVAngel, and others.
Previously, Jeff founded and led FierceMarkets, a leading online B2B media and lead-generation company based in Washington, DC. He sold to Questex Media and the Audax Group in 2008 and left in 2009, taking a year off to travel abroad.
Jeff is recognized as an innovator in the B2B media and marketing services industries. In addition to his work at BestVendor, he is the non-executive chairman of Three Ships Media, a Raleigh-based digital marketing agency. He lives in New York City and is a graduate of Stanford.
