Jeff Cantalupo is an entrepreneur, investor and branding expert. He started Listen, a seed investment and brand design consultancy, in 2010 to partner with entrepreneurs and help turn their ideas into brands. Jeff is also an active advisor to such organizations as TechStars Chicago (previously Excelerate Labs) and Dashfire.
Prior to founding Listen, Jeff worked as Vice President, Account Director at Leo Burnett, one of the world’s top advertising agencies, where he honed his craft working on corporate giants such as Altria, Philip Morris International and Kellogg Company. Managing such iconic brands as Marlboro and Pop-Tarts, Jeff brings a holistic perspective to brand building and consumer engagement. In addition to his brand strategy expertise, Jeff is very savvy when it comes to innovation, as he routinely participated on agency and client innovation teams charged with identifying opportunities, developing new products and launching new brands in the market. Having spent part of his career abroad, he is also an expert at maintaining global brand consistency and relevancy across multiple targets and cultures.
His experience has led to various speaking engagements, such as: Inside Advertising Speakers Program (Advertising Educational Foundation) Guest Lecturer - integrated marketing (University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business)
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Jeff is also active in the community serving as a board member for Ronald McDonald House Charities Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana and is an active family manager of the Jim Cantalupo Multiple Sclerosis Camp for Kids.
