Yovav (Jay) Meydad is the co-founder and CEO of Hitpad. Hitpad for iPad provides a quick and way to stay current and see what’s going on today. The product was launched at Techonomy3 event in Tel Aviv on April 2011.
Prior to founding Hitpad with Nir Holtzman Ninio (company’s CTO), Jay spent 4 years as the Vice President of Products & Operations at Snap Technologies, a distributed media company with a 20% U.S. reach which offers services in content distribution (Snap Shots) & contextual advertising (Snap LinkAds).
Prior to Snap, Jay served 3 years as the VP of Product & Project Management for Spark Networks, a leading online personals service provider. While at Spark, he oversaw the product and design teams, and was responsible for the execution of multiple product and feature launches across a large network of web properties including JDate.com and AmericanSingles.com.
Prior to Spark Networks, Jay worked as Director of Account Management for ICQ Mobile, an AOL company, where he oversaw ICQ’s relationships with wireless service providers worldwide, including Vodafone, O2 and Rogers AT&T Wireless.
Before ICQ, Jay served in various product development & management roles at a variety of technology companies.
Jay earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Engineering from the Ben Gurion University, Israel.
