Jason Stoffer joined Maveron as a senior associate in 2007 and became a principal in 2009, focusing on the education and e-commerce industries. Prior to joining Maveron, Jason served as senior director of strategic operations for Career Education Corp., where he co-founded and led admissions and marketing for IADT Online, a for-profit design school. At Career Education, he also spearheaded broad initiatives to develop new digital marketing strategies, increase sales force effectiveness, and restructure the company’s call center operations. He is on the Latimer Education and zulily boards and closely involved with the firm’s investments in Altius Education, and Livemocha. He holds a BA in economics from the University of Michigan, Phi Beta Kappa, and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
