Jason is an investment manager at Amadeus where he focuses on opportunities in the digital media and resource efficiency markets. Since joining the firm as an associate in 2007, he has worked closely with Liquavista, the electronic display maker, and Forth Dimension Displays, a micro-display supplier, helping both companies realise exits in 2010 and 2011 respectively. Jason is currently a director on the Boards of Edgeware AB, which builds systems and software for on-demand TV; and ComQi Ltd, a provider of in-store multichannel marketing solutions. He also serves as an observer on the Board of Unruly Media, the leading social video advertising company.
Prior to joining Amadeus, Jason was a lead member of a technology and product development team at E Ink Corporation in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he worked on commercialisation of the world’s first electronic ink display. The technology has been widely deployed in a range of consumer products, most notably Amazon’s Kindle electronic book.
Jason holds Engineering and Science degrees from MIT, Stanford University and Cambridge University. Jason is mostly Trinidadian with a bit of Jamaican and American added in for good measure.
