Jared is a writer and designer from Brooklyn, living in San Francisco. He spent his childhood in North America, South America, and Scandinavia, which taught him the power of diversity of people and experiences. He attended Evomail at Co-Founder and CPO.
He’s currently the Head of Design Lattice, where he’s helping shape the next-generation of
people-first HR software. He actively works on two side projects, High Resolution and Playbook. High Resolution is a video series comprised of 25 interviews with companies like Facebook, Google, Airbnb, and IBM. He and his co-host sat down with their design leaders to learn how they approach, communicate, and deploy design to make a business impact every day. High Resolution is free to anyone and has been consumed 1M+ times. Playbook is a knowledge sharing platform for the design community. Designers can ask and follow pressing questions around career development, and be notified of targeted, actionable answers from their fellow community members (askplaybook.com).
When he’s not working on Lattice or his projects, Jared is helping Greylock Partners, where he serves as a Design Ambassador. He and his co-ambassadors are Helping Greylock grow their design leadership community by putting events, workshops, and discussions together to foster a deeper sense of cross-company networking.
In the past, Jared founded two companies and has contracted with others like Nuzzel, Y Combinator, MIT, and Google. He previously led teams at Teespring, Omada Health, and Treehouse. Jared is deeply passionate about community, communication, and process. He has done his best to double-down on efforts that focus on these things.
