James Psota is Co-Founder and CTO of Panjiva. Panjiva makes it easier for companies to do business across borders by providing a platform where companies engaged in global trade can search for and connect with each other. James leads Panjiva’s technical and product direction and development. At the core of Panjiva’s technology is its large scale data mining engine that ingests a massive amount of data from over 30 objective data sources and millions of web pages, resulting in detailed profiles on six million companies engaged in global trade. While leading at Panjiva, James is also pursuing his Ph.D. in computer science at MIT and is an advisor and angel investor for a number of venture-backed startups. Jim earned degrees in computer science and computer engineering from Cornell University and MIT.
