He’s been a passionate entrepreneur for more than a decade, founding three companies of his own and serving as a founding team member and chief product officer of Yammer, which was acquired by Microsoft in 2012 for $1.2 billion.

At Yammer, he was responsible for the product strategy and roadmap, user experience and product marketing. Before joining Yammer, Jim co-founded AudioCaseFiles, which was acquired by Courtroom Connect, and worked as the director of professional services at security company Rapid7. In 1999, he co-founded his first company called DineOnMe, for people to purchase restaurant gift certificates online.

Jim earned his BS in Computer Science from Vanderbilt University and served as a Communications Officer in the U.S. Air Force.
